Food Truck Grand Slam event to benefit Kingdom Home on September 11

Join the Walled Lake United Methodist Church and surrounding community in an evening of food, family and fun to benefit Kingdom Home! The event will include three food trucks, appearances by former Detroit Tigers 1984 World Champions Juan Berenguer and Dave Rozema, as well as a silent auction including signed Detroit Tigers memorabilia.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Kingdom Home, the nonprofit founded by Detroit Tigers pitcher, Matthew Boyd and his wife, Ashley Boyd. Kingdom Home’s mission is to end child sex slavery in Uganda through prevention, by providing a safe place to live for children at risk of entering the sex trade.

Tickets are required for admission and can be purchased here. Tickets for the event are $25 for one person or $50 for a family of two or more, and include entrance into the event and ONE autograph from a former World Champion Detroit Tiger. Tickets do NOT include the cost of food or drink, and autographs are limited to one per ticket.
